Kerala and Indian winners in 2026

Gulf News reported a Kerala expat winning Dh20 million after seven years of buying tickets, a Sharjah-based Kerala expat winning Dh500,000, and a Kerala expat winning Dh100,000 in series 289 after family members picked the number. Winners are frequently reported as buying in groups with colleagues who share the ticket cost and the prize.

Before you buy a ticket

  • Buy only from the official Big Ticket website or its airport counters. Social media pages and WhatsApp agents selling “shares” are a common scam.
  • No real draw asks you to pay a fee to release a prize. If someone calls saying you won and asks for money, it is fraud.
  • The odds are very long. Treat a ticket as entertainment spending, not a savings plan.
  • Check which draws are legal. Big Ticket is one of three draws authorised by the GCGRA; Mahzooz has been paused since 2024. See is lottery legal in the UAE.
