The Dubai Fitness Challenge returns for its tenth edition from Saturday 31 October to Sunday 29 November 2026. The idea is simple: do 30 minutes of activity every day for 30 days. It is organised by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council, and more than 16 million people have taken part since 2017.

What’s on

  • Dubai Run — the mass run, usually on Sheikh Zayed Road
  • Dubai Ride — the cycling event
  • Dubai Stand Up Paddle and Dubai Yoga
  • Fitness Villages and Fitness Hubs across the city with thousands of classes

Registration details and exact event dates are published on the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website and app.

Use it to save on gym fees

Many gyms run trial offers and discounted memberships during the challenge. Before you sign a 12-month contract, use the free classes for a month and see what you actually stick with. Our new UAE gym membership costs guide compares budget gyms, mid-range chains, community gyms and free outdoor options.
